Inadequate Security Verdict Affirmed

Roberts Wilson, P.A. | July 10, 2011

The Mississippi Supreme Court recently affirmed a jury verdict in case involving Inadequate Security.  The case concerned an unsuspecting couple that was robbed while they were guests at InTown Suites in Jackson, Mississippi.  The case was brought because InTown Suites had repeatedly ignored security problems at its Jackson location and failed to warn its customers about the problems.  Attorneys for the Plaintiffs showed that Hotel managers and employees had been begging its corporate headquarters to hire security to protect them and their customers.   InTown Corporate headquarters ignored the warnings and refused to provide security.

The victims suffered serious injuries that required reconstructive surgery and suffered severe post traumatic stress disorder due to injuries sustained in the robbery.

Congratulations to Attorney Ashley Ogden for  a job well done for some very deserving clients!  Click here to read the full article in the Clarion Ledger.
